Ruby Falls, a 145 foot waterfall is located 1,120 feet below the surface of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee.The Falls are located at the end of the main passage of Ruby Falls Cave, in a large vertical shaft. The stream is fed both by rainwater and natural springs. It collects in a pool on the cave floor and then continues flowing through the mountain until it finally joining the Tennessee River.
