Canal Dry Up
The canal system goes through regular maintenance that involves yearly scheduled canal dry ups and fish round ups. These dry ups are necessary for a variety of reasons ranging from maintenance, improvements and new construction. Schedules are posted on the SRP website, including a rotating 7 year dry up plan.
